Reflexions.

Aconseguir un bon clima a classe, en el que les regles per a assegurar-nos un bon funcionament, que els alumnes estiguen còmodes i siga en definitiva, un clima agradable i positiu per a aprendre considere que és essencial.

Per això, em pareixen molt interessants articles com aquest, en els que professors/es ofereixen el seu punt de vista, la seua experiència. Em sembla molt enriquidor, per exemple, la reflexió que es fa en aquest post entre regles i rutines. “Rules have consequences, and routines have reminders. For me, that meant far less rules and many more routines and procedures. Once you make a rule, you have to stick to it.” Molt interessant!

Als comentaris he trobat l’enllaç a altre blog on una professora explica quina mena d’exercicis utilitza el primer dia per a conéixer als seus alumnes i… aprofitar-ho per a establir les regles de la classe.

“Writing: I Want a Classroom Where…”
(…) Students get their writing journals and free write beginning with “I want a classroom where…” I don’t usually give students prompts, but I want to see which students can take a prompts and write for at least five minutes. Who writes with fluency? Who is stuck? Who has difficulty getting comfortable?

Students then share their ideas in small groups and write their “big ideas” on chart paper. From this, I get to see small group interaction. Who talks easily in small groups? Who shies away? Who are the natural leaders? Does anyone try and lead the others off task?

Groups share. I get to see who is able to sustain attention in a large-group discussion.
I collate their ideas and will soon put them on a class blog. They will be used as an introductory lesson about online commenting. How do we share our ideas? Establish credibility as a commenter? Respond constructively?

My reasons for this activity:

Formatively assess student writing fluency.
Formatively assess student listening skills.
Observe pair, small group, and large group interactions.
Give students input into the establishment of classroom culture.
